In this post-apocalyptic world, the zombie virus has a cure. Daily doses bring the infected back into humanity... mostly. Mara is still dead, and very much afraid of what she has done and will do, when she's sent back "home" to live with her godparents. We get snippets of strained relationships and what Mara did in her past. The story is pretty intriguing, but ultimately not really for me.
