This first look is certainly intriguing and gripping. I love the idea of former zombies reintegrating into society, especially when it means former best friends and potential lovers are going to meet again for the first time under these new circumstances. The writing was compelling, and I am really liking the character development that's taken place so far. I'd absolutely read more to see how this social experiment plays out. The cover is creepy and striking. I think this novel will appeal to paranormal romance, apocalypse, and YA fantasy fans alike.
