This is such an interesting concept for a novel. I already love the writing style and how readers are given the views of someone who is Altered and someone who is still human. Mixed with the slight political and military drama woven throughout this small snippet, I know that this will keep me invested. Honestly my biggest issue right now is wrapping my head around the timeline. It just feels like Rory should be older than she's written. But for that I probably need more of the story.
