I'm easily grossed out, so zombie books are generally not my thing. Case in point, even though the descriptions weren't super vivid, any time an injury was mentioned with any detail in this first look, I was super skeeved out.
But I love the whole "monsters trying to be human again" trope when applied to female characters and the fact that there's lesbians too is a fun bonus, so this is something I'll be finishing whether I win it or not. Just going to have to power through the descriptions of what the zombified people look like.
