I've definitely had the occasional bout of hanger, but not to an extent in which I would read a book written about strategies to overcome it. I also do not have an issue with overeating, except on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. This book is likely written for people whose hanger is beginning to affect their personal relationships and their productivity. I work from home, so I am never without food. I also am able to recognize when I am becoming irritable due to hunger, and I warn my partner accordingly.

Overall, the book appears to be well-written with engaging anecdotes included to demonstrate different situations in which hanger has affected the author's friends and clients.
