Half a Cup of Sand and Sky is a book quite honestly that I forgot about. I won this from bookish first and wasn't quite sure what to think of it. I remember giving it a go when I got it but just could not get the vibe so I dnf it. The story setting in the east was different and I did not mind it but the prose was again, just not for me. Cleaning off my shelves I stumbled across the book and thought okay let's give him a try again. Yeah, this is just not for me. Not every book is going to be a winner. Not every storyline is going to resonate with you. I guess that is the beauty of giveaways. You get exposed to novels you normally would not try to read. This book does have a nice cover though! I don't think my review should count towards the author though because I'm sure this is a good book. It's just not my cup of tea. Thank you anyways bookish first for giving me a chance
