Although I love the title of Half a Cup of Sand and Sky, the blurb leaves me a little confused as to what Amineh is seeking and how it becomes a story.
I know of the turmoil in the 1970's in Tehran but am not sure what this whole story is about. Does she time travel? Is she an artist?
