The First Look at 'Half a Cup of Sand and Sky' was an enjoyable read. While I don't know or understand a lot about Iranian history, I would like to read this book as I think Amineh will learn a lot of her country's history and it's significance in the course of her story. I'm not sure what to make of the cover but would love to read the book so I can figure out it's significance. I would give this book 4 stars based on what I read in the exerpt.
