I really enjoyed this First Look! It seems like a beautifully written historical fiction. I am already invested in a story and characters, especially Amineh. The part where she reminisces about her childhood in a desert village and her family's rose orchard was incredibly vivid; I felt like I was right there. It’s amazing how scents can evoke long-forgotten memories. I can't wait to read the rest of this story!
