I didn't care too much for the cover and the description really didn't give me any clues as to what the novel would be about. After reading the excerpt, I didn't take anything away insofar as the direction that the plot was headed. But I'm guessing that the novel will be about Amineh and Farzad. But overall, I wasn't captivated and wanting to read more.
