I love this type of historical fiction, where the events of the time aren't necessarily front and center, and you can see normal life in that lens. I'm especially excited about this book because I did a lot of work on the Iranian Revolution in college, so am very excited to see how it comes across in this novel, and how it affects the characters who were not seeking to be part of a revolution. My only hesitation is that the delivery date is so close to the pub date...this will be extremely difficult to read in time to review.
