The cover didn't make much sense to me at first--I wasn't sure what I was seeing--but after reading the First Look I can see how it reflects all of the various things in the main character's mind. I am definitely intrigued by her relationship with her best friend, and I hope that the book will show the closeness of their relationship in a way that builds upon what the author has told us so far about being inseparable after meeting on the bus. It seems like the main character's best friend will be the one who challenges her to go beyond herself, and I always enjoy that dynamic between friends because I think that's what good friends do for each other. However, I could also see it going too far. I'm intrigued!
