This is a good first impression with a specific audience. The writing was very well done and intriguing, but for me the storyline was slow to start that it didn’t quite catch my attention. The book blurb mentions that Farzad might be in some sort of secret society, but from what I read so far I wasn’t interested enough to read on. But the writing is great and this sounds like a wonderful literary fiction book. The cover is dramatic and colorful.
