Someone who has dealt with taking care of a parent when they were sick and what would be their final days I understand the author trying to process everything the role reversal my mom had a hard time with it she was so used to helping everyone else being there for me even when she was dying trying to learn hospital care how to take care of her it all happened so fast.Still I grieve just like my mom did hers replaying everything that happened writing all of that time and after she died in a journal I saw people saying it was repetitive all over the place that's how my journal is same stuff every time same broken record over and over again decided to stop writing every day writing once in awhile plus keeping it down on my phone to put in later.Writing helps.Hope the writing helped her and her family,someone who needed to read others experiences.I wondered how long it would be before we got Covid stories coming out so people could learn more from those who experienced it first hand:those who had it,families of those who had it,people in the medical field.
