What an incredibly moving story...
This is an incredibly emotional, powerful memoir about a young women's experience with the death and grief of her mother during the COVID-19 lockdown. After reading the first look, I think this is a book that everyone can relate to, whether you have experienced grief or not. We all went through the pandemic together, and the author does an amazing job at recognizing that despite all of the hardships we faced during that time, it also brought us together as a society. I was also so touched with how she approached the topic of death and grief. That can be a difficult and triggering topic to talk about, but the author wrote about it with such grace and compassion. I have gone through my fair share of grief in my life, and I can say with certainty that this is a book I will be able to relate to. I look forward to reading the rest of the story!
