Oh, my heart!
As someone who is still mentally healing from the impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic, the preview of this book felt like it was healing a wound. So much was lost and so much was learned.
The cover art would lead you to believe this book at a “at home in the South” feel to it. That’s not what I got in the first couple chapters (Intro). I’m interested to see where this story goes.
I feel connected to the characters thanks to excellent writing. The author’s words are easy to read and descriptive. I’m looking forward to reading more.
