A lot of times the books that are the hardest to read are the most necessary. I would absolutely put this book in that category. We have as a society unfortunately not been allowed to heal from the inherent trauma of the pandemic in any meaningful way, and unfortunately a lot of the lessons that should have been learned were not. This book is a step towards that future were we are able to value human life properly.
