I'm not a fan of memoirs, but this book sounds very interesting and something worth reading. It's the account of the author's journey through grief and loss as she navigates the illness and eventual death of her mother. It seems to blend her personal story with larger societal issues. Raising important questions about how we care for our elderly and how we value human life more broadly. Despite the heavy subject matter, this seems to be a story of resilience and hope.
