Heavy and deep reflection on COVID

It feels so bizarre that we are far enough removed from 2020 that books reflecting and commenting on that season are being published. In many ways, it feels like the pandemic was simultaneously yesterday and a lifetime ago. Because the book was written so soon after, you can hear the anguish and resentment in the tone of the writing. The book itself is promoted as discussing the way we treat the elderly and how they should have dignity in their passing, but I feel like it's more about how COVID brought to light certain needs in the medical system and how we can prevent COVID-era policies from happening again. This one feels heavy and deep.
