This book is beautifully written but very heavy. I found myself very emotional when reading the introduction about the author's mom and why she decided to write this book. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic I think it's important these stories are told, even if they are heavy and brutal. I would not recommend this book if you are not in a good emotional state. I would recommend this book if you are looking for an emotional and raw story.
