This is a heartfelt ode to carrying for one's elderly parent and the grief that follows after their passing. Adding the stress and fear of the COVID pandemic, this memoir shows how hard death was at that time. This isn't something I would normally read, but I became enthralled from the opening prologue. I feel like this is a topic not normally talked about and yet a vast majority of the population will go through this stage in life, so it would be such an important and impactful read.
