I remember the dread, panic, anxiety, and fear during the beginning of the pandemic when there were no vaccines, everything closed down, everyone was quarantined, and people were hospitalized if they caught Covid-19. I remember seeing video clips of hospital workers offering hugs to paitents, of doctors sleeping in tents so they don't put their families at risk of catching anything, of holidays passing and no one able to visit the patients. This story brings those memories and images up again, and I feel like it's going to be very sad but wholesome.
