I like the author’s writing style and the way she tells both her own and her mother’s story. It felt similar to reading a personal diary, and getting a glimpse into another person's life—exploring their hopes, fears, and innermost thoughts. The story sheds light on a topic that is often overlooked—the reversal of roles between parents and children, where individuals find themselves caring for their parents. It seems like a well-written, compelling, and deeply personal story about grief, acceptance, and healing. The cover is simple, yet pretty, and provides a nice contrast to the story. I also like the book layout and font choice.
