I like the idea that this memoir is to celebrate the author’s mother’s life since she wasn’t able to be surrounded by all the people she touched throughout her life when she passed. I also love the acknowledgment of the pandemic and the those who are caretakers for their elderly parents. While I feel that I am not currently the audience for this book it still touched me and I know it will impact so many others.
