I REALLY enjoyed this one! All the familial tension really is what hooked me and I love that there is smut but it’s held off until about halfway through, so I wasn’t bombarded with people stripping their clothes immediately. I do however, wish that the topic of PTSD would have been brought to light because there is no way Cam went to the places he did, did the things he did and saw what he saw and didn’t come back with even the slightest bit. I really tried to like Xander but he had a superiority complex to top them all. Even towards the end when everything that happened came to light. Willow was the most patient woman not only with having to put up with Cam and his family but also with having to deal with the town and their opinions on how she should have moved on. If you’re from a small town you can relate. If you have any association with the military you can relate. If you’ve ever lost a loved one you can relate. Over all, great read.
