The cover only left me wondering why there were those boots. The winter wonderland on there is a bit funny because the book starts out as a display of being the opposite of a wonderful time with ice skating. The protagonist, Cam, has some baggage and knows that he is to blame for another’s death, his family knows and shows it as well. There is more left unsaid even after the preview as people in this little place seem to fit into the pocket where they think they should go, but they are squeezed in there and I felt just as suffocated. Pretty good introduction and loose ends.
