Literally, main character Cam, back home after a self imposed exile, is literally shot by his dementia afflicted father. Cam took the bullet for Willow, his deceased brothers ex-girlfriend and from the brief First Impression, Cam and Willow seem to have feelings for each other. An emotionally laden story with electrifying chemistry seems to be in store for this novel.
