In what is the first of anything that I have read of Rebecca Yarro's, the excerpt was intriguing. It sounds like a complicated tale of family drama that is laced with pain from many events from the past as there is a struggle to deal with new events in the present. The cover is simple but does not give much of the story away while being appealing as well. From the sample, this looks like a book that i would take a try at enjoying.
