I was immediately pulled into the story desperately wanting to know exactly what happened. The author did an amazing job of giving information of what had just occurred in such a natural way. Though a good bit of information was packed into the first few chapters it didn't feel that way at all.
I quickly fell in love with Cam and the shot bit that I got to read about Willow had me wanting to wrap her in a hug. This story touches close to my heart as I've lost loved ones that were military. So the way that she described her grief was perfect. Like the author knows that pain.
The cover of the book I believe fits it well so far. It's not cliche and honestly if I saw this book on a shelf I would pick it up to read the description.
