It was a bit jarring to start on Chapter Three rather than One, so it took me a bit to understand the story. Once I got settled, I still didn't have much interest in the story. I don't typically read adult romance and while there is a lot more going on here than the romance (like the family troubles, death of a brother, and returning home from service), it seems to be mainly romance. And the overall storyline isn't new enough for me. But I can see how this story could appeal to others.
