I'll be up front and say this is not a genre I really have any interest in or read but this first impression did not entice me to try it. Why in the world does this start at Chapter 3?! I'm guessing something really important happens to kick off the book but it's very jarring to be thrown into an already-started story line. Very cliche characters and the cursing in the book felt forced. Cursing does not bother me one bit but to have it thrown in there as "embellishments" is distracting. I will not be looking into this book any further.
