This was a great first read, although it did start on chapter 3, which was a bit weird. The characters seem really complex and troubled. That can be typical in a military lifestyle. My husband is active duty military so I know I'll be able to relate to things happening here whether I've experienced them or I know someone who has. I'm super excited to read this book!
