I love the title and I loved the summary in the teaser before this book was available for us to read, but I'm going to join the group jarred by the excerpt starting from chapter three. I don't feel the connection to the characters that I usually get from starting at the beginning. But I do like the cover, as I'm immediately drawn to the military subject matter, and I'd be willing to give this one another try. It sounds like it will be a great family drama, and I'm hoping for some tears!
