The first impression of Great and Precious Things was emotional. Just in that short glimpse of the book, I could tell that it is a tear jerker. The loss of loved ones, the loss of the love of a parent, and loving someone that you feel you can never be with...so much in such a few pages.
This is one of those books that I feel I would read from start to finish without wanting to put it down. I'm ready to read it in its entirety, with a box of tissue at the ready!
