Emotional story with much personal heartbreak

The cover makes me think of a beautiful small town filled with people who know each other well. From reading the excerpt I feel as if there is much history between Cameron and Willow that needs to be explained. It feels like it’s going to be both a heartbreaking and heartwarming story in which the misunderstood son returns home after many years. I’m curious to see why Cameron seems to have a troublemaker reputation. The most intriguing to me is to see how the father son relationship progresses. I get the impression the the interactions between Willow and Cameron will be intense. I’m looking forward to reading this book also because Rebecca Yarros has an amazing way with words.
