It took me a bit to get into the swing of this excerpt since it started at chapter 3 and I assume we missed out on some important details, but I am interested to see where the story about Camden and his family goes. I am less interested in what seems to be a set-up for romance between Cam and Willow (his deceased brother’s fiance), however, as I prefer family dramas and would hope the focus is on why Cam has been asked back to town by his father who has some form of dementia. I would be willing to give this a try and see where it goes, but I am not on the edge-of-my-seat to read as soon as possible like I feel with other books.
