I thought the first look was mostly well-written and very interesting. I thought Willow's chapter flowed better than Camden's and was more believable than his as well. So far, Camden's inner thoughts are coming off too crass and inauthentic for me, but this might change as the novel progresses. I would like to read more to see a deep and necessary healing take place among all the characters, and because I love a good love story. I thought the cover was visually stunning. I think the book has potential and could go either way.
