While reading the first look of Great and Precious Things I thought “Wow, this is really an abrupt start to this novel.” It was then that I realized that the first look started with chapter three. This is really odd seeing as though the first few paragraphs are what should grab your attention. Anyways, overall this book isn’t really my kind of read.
