The first look of this book hooked me from the get go and I couldn't wait to get my copy in the mail. I breezed through the first couple of chapters, but found it a little harder to get into than I originally thought. I thought that it was a good read and lovers of true crime will definitely enjoy this book. I enjoyed the characters and the way that the storylines intertwined throughout the book. I also think that the book is written in a way that feels like watching a shoe similar to Broadchurch. The chosen setting for the novel adds to ambiance of the murders and makes everything seem eerier throughout the novel. I was initially drawn to the cover of this book and was not disappointed in reading it. I think that the cover is a great representation of what readers will get from this novel. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone that loves true crime.
