Granite Harbor - small town in Maine where everyone knows each other (at least from seeing around). Quiet, beautiful place beloved by tourists, where nothing bad ever really happens. So when dead body is found, town is in shock. The only detective must found a killer with help of FBI agent. Parents must protect their children.
This book didn't appear to me as page- turner at first. Filled with people, clothing, building and surrounding descriptions, slowly it gets better. There's a lot of characters and might be a little hard in a beginning to remember all names and who is who. But in each chapter later, author reminds in few words what are they.
This is not just a who done it story. Author pays close attention to relationships between parents and their children (divorced parents, single parents), close friends, coworkers, neighbors.
