I Like the story a lot. I felt that it was super intriguing and I often did not want to put it down. I have not read anything by Peter Nichols in the past, but I am now considering picking up another book of his. One thing that I would say is please don’t read the synopsis of the book. It has a spoiler in the back. It really bugs me when books do that because the book would have been so much more suspenseful. All you need to know is that it is a small town serial killer. (Best thriller trope by far.) my favorite part of the book was probably the chapters told by the murder. It was super creepy and I loved it! It would probably be a five star read but at times it got pretty confusing. I know this is often used by authors to enhance the creepiness of it but I don’t think Nichols quite did it right. However, the characters were amazing! I loved nearly all of them!
