This is about a ex-writer became detective story who is trying to solve the case of a small town murder of a teen. The corpse of the teen is found in a way that makes the detective believe that it may be linked to past killings from the work of an unknown serial killer in Maine. The murdered was friends with many but one of the friends mom is thrown in and helps the detective solve the mysterious murder of the teen.
I enjoyed this book! It was fun to try to figure everything out. I liked all the characters except for Morgans character. Some of the chapters are told from the killers past and it's super creepy! It is definitely the perfect mystery/thriller book. Definitely check your triggers for Animal Abuse!
