The cover of Granite Harbor by Peter Nichols is... realistic, and I think that's the nicest thing I can say about it. As for the description and First Look, it was an absolute struggle to get through. The description did nothing for me, and this genre of novel is not something I'm typically interested in. I just barely made it to the end of the First Look, so I personally doubt I would find any enjoyment in reading the full novel.
