I love the cover of this book and was excited to read the First Look, but I couldn't get into it. Everyone has a messed up life, and it was difficult for me to get a feel for the deeper person within. As many characters were introduced in this brief excerpt, it's possible all of this would come together for me later, but it didn't today.
