Excellent- the US equivalent to Broadchurch

I love this story’s details about internal feelings. Their individual stories (who is each character’s family, what do they struggle with outside of the main plot?) are slowly revealed. I gravitate towards stories where there is some kind of bigger mystery story, in addition to mysteries about the characters and whether or not they get what they want.

Maine as a setting, and certainly any place by water or forests, lends itself to excellent scenery where secrets are uncovered. I will really be looking forward to this one!
