The cover is pretty, but at first glance didn’t lead me to believe this was a detective/crime novel. I feel like a darker, moodier cover would be more fitting for “Granite Harbor.”
Nonetheless, the storyline hooked me immediately! After the scene with the frog, I knew I had to keep reading and find out what happens next! I’m dying to find out the connection between the prologue (who was the guy in the car?) and the murder!
There were quite a few characters introduced already, so I’m hoping we get to know them a bit before even more characters are added to the mix! Perhaps we’ve even been introduced to the murderer already! This is one mystery I can’t wait to solve!
