Gorgeous Gruesome Faces is not at all what I was expecting. The tale flips between present day and the past, each chapter piecing together another clue to the story. The writing is easy to follow and allows for a quick read of the book.
Follow Sunny on her road to reunite with Candie. Former pop stars, with their deceased friend Mina, who got caught in a scandal and careers going up in smoke. Later in life Sunny sees Candie post about an audition and decides that after years of not speaking this was her chance to see her again. As they go through the audition process Sunny learns that this camp is not as it seems and something else is lurking around each corner. As she discovers the truth of what happened to Mina and what Candie is entangled in, she will learn about the Maiden and the tale that follows her.
Honestly, I don't know if I would really recommend this book to others. Its an interesting read but only use as a filler. I don't think I will be picking up the sequel.
