Maybe it was because I had no homework to do but I read this book in less than 4 hours front to back.

I enjoyed the flashbacks between the girl's time from Sweet Cadance alongside with the present time at the workshop. I think it helped build what we knew about the girls and their characters but also allowed us to get needed information as the plot was progressing instead of a linear ABC format. The eventual awareness of Sunday and Candice's feelings for each other was definitely something I didn't see coming but I think it really helped give reasoning to actions. One element I really enjoyed is being able to see how it was that Sunday caused what happened to Mini and how much she didn't want it to happen to the other girls. Because of that I'm assuming that Ms. Tao knew of what happened in Jin-hwan's apartment and that was part of if not the whole reason they accepted Sunday into the competition.
