She also looks into attitudes about conforming to groups, sexuality, and what it actually means to be a star. I would say there was not quite enough tension in places, and it took too long to find out what happened in the past. Had I known sooner, I would have been more scared for the present time. I do look forward to seeing what happens in the next book.
