Overall, I thought this was a great read!
First of all, I just want to say the cover for this book is absolutely stunning! It drew my eye right away.
Now in terms of what's inside the cover... I'll be honest that I was nervous to read at first, just because I don't really know a lot about the K-pop world, so I was afraid the references and such would get lost on me. Fortunately that didn't happen, and I enjoyed reading this book.
I loved all the social commentary that was in this book, about stardom, friendship, and the like. I also liked the mythology presented in this book, the queer romance, and the revenge-is tale. (I will say though, this book covered a lot, and could maybe have benefited from featuring one less subplot overall.)
I will say that this story didn't grip me as tightly as I wanted it to, which is why the rating isn't higher. But I'm glad I gave it a chance, and would recommend this book to other readers.
